What should I consider when recruiting members for a guide-writing team?

Along with some representation from the steering group planning the community-wide dialogues as part of the guide-writing team, good places to recruit include area colleges, specifically in the political science, communications, journalism and English departments. Try not to have the steering group planning dialogues all volunteer to be on the guide-writing team. Chances are they all don't have the skill set needed to do this and having the same people wear too many hats is a sure way to head to quick burnout. New 'blood,' new perspectives are a good thing. It is preferable to have people involved on this team who reflect the varied views within the community on the issue being addressed.

(a question from our webinar today) Can you edit the guide once it's downloaded to your hard drive?
