Since this is an abridged version of the guide I can't speak to the full content of this piece. One note of fact is there was another discussion guide written on the issue. The Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney Dispute Resolution Program wrote in 1996 a guide titled Dialogue on Race Relations and Domestic Violence. This was a part of the City's Days of Dialogue effort. From your abridged version's summary it looks as though The Purple Ribbon Study Circle Guide may be more comprehensive and have more focus on action than did the 1996 guide. My rating may be lower than it should be because I don't have access to the full content of the guide.
