Choices for the 21st Century Education Program, Watson Institute, Brown University
Nov 20, 1989
I direct the Choices Program at Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies. Choices is a national education initiative that seeks to empower young people with the skills, knowledge, and participatory habits to be engaged citizens who are capable of addressing international issues through thoughtful public discourse and informed decision making. Our resources are used in approximately a third of American high schools. While our materials are designed for use in high school social studies classrooms, many are also adaptable for community-based discussion.
