[ Abridged version ]
Raises the question of U.S. policy in Iraq. What is our purpose? Who should be involved in solutions? How long should U.S. troops stay? This material is designed for use in high school classes but adaptable for a range of other audiences. At the heart of the material is a set of three Policy Options that present divergent policy alternatives, each driven by different underlying values, each with merits and trade-offs. This is drawn from a longer unit on Iraq (available from the Choices Program).
