How to embed a YouTube video into your own website

The Easy Route

The easiest way to embed a YouTube video onto your own site is to right click on any YouTube video on any page, and click "Copy embded html." Paste this code in the html editor for your website, or send the code to your website administrator to insert.

Customizable Videos

You can customize the video by changing the size, color, and other options. If you are watching the video on any page that's not YouTube, right click on the video and select "Watch on YouTube."

When you are viewing the video on YouTube, click the <Embed> button.

Select the options you'd like customize. A preview of how your video will look will show up on the right side of the page.

When you are finished selecting your options, copy the code and insert it into the html editor for your website, or send the code to your website administrator to insert.
