Democracy Exchange on media access and reform

We here at the Campaign for Stronger Democracy are extremely excited to announce our next Democracy Exchange call, which will focus on the issue of media reform. Scheduled for May 1 at 3 P.M. Eastern Time, we will be joined by Rinku Sen of Colorlines and Applied Research Center, and Craig Aaron of Free Press. Our executive director, Peter Hardie, will be moderating.

We’ll use the time on the call to discuss some of the organizations’ work, the future of media reform, and the important connection between media and democracy. We will also be touching on some of the organizations’ initiatives, which include Drop the I-Word and the Facing Race Conference from Colorlines, and Save the Internet and Save the News from Free Press.
