Creating racial justice in a community takes time. Just ask people who have organized study circle programs on racism, and they’ll tell you that change doesn’t happen overnight. Several of these communities, including Springfield, Ill., and Fayetteville, N.C., are still seeing progress, years after their study circle programs took place.
