Why I work at Everyday Democracy:
Everyday Democracy works to create positive change in society, and I am drawn to the mission of improving quality of life for everyone. I enjoy the teamwork and strong commitment of the entire Everyday Democracy team.
What I love about what I do:
I love knowing that, through my work assisting the leadership team and my colleagues, I play a part in helping communities to create a more equitable society. I enjoy working with and learning from people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
How I got here:
My work has been primarily in the nonprofit sector assisting executives. I worked at Aid to Artisans, which helps create economic opportunities for artisan groups in developing countries. Most recently I worked at Newman’s Own Foundation.
What I do when I’m not helping communities create change:
I enjoy the great outdoors through biking, hiking, swimming, and kayaking, and spending time with family.
