"BLACK" - Exploring Trauma Through Dance and Sound

September 5, 2019

The Wondertwins, famed veteran hip-hop dance duo from Boston, will perform their newest piece, BLACK, later this month. BLACK explores the traumatizing effects of police violence towards the black community by incorporating dance with historic and contemporary audio and video clips. Post-show dialogue will be facilitated by Everyday Democracy and the Connecticut Collaborative on Poverty, Criminal Justice and Race.

We hope to see you there!
