Hundreds participate in Strong Starts for Children kick-off events

Four children running and smilingStrong Starts for Children is a new Everyday Democracy initiative that aims to bring people together to create brighter futures for kids. Everyday Democracy is working closely with five groups in the greater Albuquerque area to help them find ways for all kinds of people to talk, work, and take action together on issues related to the success of all children from birth to eight. The groups are engaging their communities in dialogues this fall to address issues such as school readiness, health, access for families to development and job training, financial literacy, educational opportunities, and more.

The five groups taking part in Strong Starts for Children hosted events in August to launch their projects.

Dialogue to Change
